The school or College as it is called in France is located in Saint-Malo that is located in Brittany.  The port city is in northwestern France and is located on the English Channel and is a popular tourist attraction and has many ancient buildings and beautiful beaches.

Our teacher, Stephanie Derrien-Guivarch has a greater grasp of English and writing then I have.  Stephanie has two classes and the post cards we send are shared with both classes.

I purchase postcards that have pictures of cities or an attraction to send the children so that they can present a report to the rest of the class.  When the postcards arrive one of the students claims the postcard so they can present a report on that area of the United States.  From what Stephanie has told us those postcards are very sought after and the kids enjoy giving the reports.

When we arrived at home for Christmas we had two large envelopes containing letters and postcards.  Stephanie included a picture of each class and it was fun to read the letters and see the picture of the child that wrote the letters.

It was fun to take the time to reply to each letter in an email that was sent to the teacher who will then share with each child.  The letters are fun and I am amazed at how well the children write in cursive and in English.

This program has been very rewarding for us and we enjoy finding and mailing the postcards.   I have enjoyed the emails from Stephanie sharing what her classes are doing and how they use the postcards that we send.

Trucker Buddy is such a great program to reach out to the public in a very important way! I had no idea there was an international program as well! Very cool!

Stephanie shares when her students give a report on the Post Cards we send. It is so much fun to hear how their English improves and the feed back I get. I thank you Henry for getting us involved in this program every time I get a letter or an email. It is easy and very rewarding.

I am a Trucker Buddy as well and it is always a great surprise when getting a envelope from my class . It is interesting to see how the letters from the class change as the year goes by and the students knowledge grows as the students learn.
