I did an inventory of all the winter supplies in my truck.

This morning, I awoke to the temperature being 42 degrees.  I realize that fall is here and it's time to begin putting all my winter gear together. In the cold season...you can never be too prepared.

Flashlight with an exta set of fresh batteries               First Aid Kit always a must
Multiple pairs of insulated socks                       Jumper Cables
Two pairs of insulated boots                      Insulated face mask
A candle which may be just enough heat to prevent frost bite     A good working lighter... maybe two of them.
Items added: thermal underwear, insulated ski bibs and ski goggles.                      My trusty shovel

There are times like this when you need all the winter gear you can get.

I would avoid the scented candle. They smell great in a house but confined inside a truck the spell may be to much. Plumbers candles from a hardware store have been my stand by heat source.

Say it isn't so! I'm not ready for winter, I could use another three months of summer weather.
