Fuel Discount Program – Frequently Asked Questions
Team Run Smart members now have access to an exclusive Fuel Discount Program. Here are some frequently asked questions!
What is the discount I will receive?
This program grants you $0.06 off the cash retail price per gallon of diesel fuel at in-network discount locations.
What locations can I use the card to receive discounts?
You will receive discounts at in-network locations on diesel at one of the 3 National Chains. The card however can be used at over 5,000 locations, where you will never pay more than cash price for your diesel fuel.
Is there a fee associated to the discount program?
Yes, there is a $25.00 ACH Debit Pre-Purchase of fuel billed on account set up or change of banking information. This amount is applied to your first transaction. This pre-purchase of fuel aids in the account set up process. There is a $25.00 Annual Fee upon sign up.
Is there a transaction fee on this card?
At discount locations there are no transaction fees on any purchase of 100 or more gallons of diesel, any purchase fewer than 100 gallons of diesel, a $1.00 transaction fee will incur. Any purchase made outside of the discount locations will incur a $2.25 transaction fee.
Do I need to be a member of Team Run Smart to receive these benefits?

Does the discount card work for anything other than fuel?
Yes, you are able to purchase such services as: additives, oil, reefer fuel, scales, and tires. There are no discounts on these services.
Can more than one driver in my fleet use the same card?
No, each driver of the fleet is assigned their own card for their use of the program.
How does the card work?
You will provide a bank account upon sign-up that your card will be attached to. The transactions will be ACH Debited from your checking account on whichever day you choose to receive your invoice. You will receive daily statements that will be emailed between 2:30 and 3:00 EST to show what transactions have transpired.
Where is the card accepted?
The card is accepted at over 5,000 Travel Stops Nationwide.
What happens after I sign up?
The Team Run Smart Fuel Program Administrator will call you after you’ve filled out your
pre-application form, and explain the program in full along with its benefits.
