Our last show of the season!  OOIDA Heart of America Trucking Show October 18th - 19th Kansas City Speedway, Kansas City, KS. The OOIDA 40th Anniversary Event is turning out to be a HUGE event!   Henry Albert and ourselves will have our trucks nose to nose in the Team Run Smart Freightliner booth.   We will be showing off our trucks, the sleepers, the F.I.T. System, and we will both be showing the aerodynamics that have been added to Henry's trailer and to our box.

This show looks like a great combination of one of the huge truck shows but with a down home feeling.  There are going to be a lot of vendors in attendance and at the same time the atmosphere of a fair. There is a Text-2 win treasure hunt.  When attendees arrive they can fill out a registration sheet and then the hunt is on.  The show is divided into six sections and each exhibiter will have a secret code.  Using your phone text in two codes from each of the six areas to enter the drawing.

Visit the health and wellness pavilion where attendees can learn more about the Affordable Care Act medical exchanges and they are offering many free health checkups.
Trucking Solutions Group will be hosting a 1.5-mile walk on Saturday the 19th that will include going up into the stands and looking down onto the racetrack.   This will be the attendee’s only chance to get pictures and see the track from this view, as the Richard Petty Driving Experience will be going on during the truck show.   There will be t-shirts on a limited bases for those who walk with us.   Please pre-register on the OOIDA Web Site

On Friday October 18th there will be a free concert featuring the band Kansas with the opening band Paper Rock Scissors starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Kansas Speedway.   Bring your lawn chairs and get ready to rock out!

Plenty of free truck parking and there will be a mobile shower unit set up in the overnight parking area.

We hope to see you there, show you our trucks, and talk trucks and health.

They decided to enter the Expedite industry as team drivers in 2005 and purchased their first Freightliner. Both, Bob and Linda have had their Class A licenses since the early 80's starting out driving in the oil field and hauling grain as fill in drivers where Bob worked as a diesel mechanic. Linda worked at the local country courthouse in data processing.

The OOIDA group is really going all out to create a great show! I am very impressed with everything they are doing and this show is all about the driver which is a very nice change. The combination of truck show and county fair atmosphere and the cool weather is really a perfect combination.

Have fun Linda! I wish I could be there. If you meet Keith Jibben, tell him I said hello. He's a friend of mine who is an OOIDA alternate board member.
