NASTC 2015 Drivers of the Year Celebration

My wife, Karen and I have just attended this year's 25th annual NASTC conference in Nashville, TN.

The NASTC event each year is an opportunity to learn and celebrate how to be a success in the trucking industry. Breakout sessions offer a wealth of information for any company owner. Attendees share their success stories with one another to gain knowledge which leads to a competitive advantage in the market place. Each year NASTC honors a group of drivers referred to as America's Best Drivers Team. The honored drivers receive special recognition from their millions of accident free miles driven. I am honored each year to get the opportunity to meet and speak with these outstanding drivers within our industry.

During a celebration ceremony, I managed to catch a few quick pictures of the event. Note the statistics of the winning 2015 team. I apologize for the crooked pictures which proves they are much better drivers than I am a photographer.

Henry Albert

Henry Albert is the owner of Albert Transport, Inc., based in Statesville, NC. Before participating in the "Slice of Life" program, Albert drove a 2001 Freightliner Century Class S/T™, and will use his Cascadia for general freight and a dry van trailer. Albert, who has been a trucker since 1983, was recognized by Overdrive as its 2007 Trucker of the Year.
