Just recently, I had the opportunity to participate as a driver in a cross country “test” which was named the Cascadia Evolution of Efficiency Tour -2012. Recently, the new “Cascadia Evolution” has received quite a bit of attention in the media . Early next week, I plan on giving you some information about our 2,400 mile trek across the country from San Diego, CA to Gastonia, NC. Henry Albert

Henry Albert is the owner of Albert Transport, Inc., based in Statesville, NC. Before participating in the "Slice of Life" program, Albert drove a 2001 Freightliner Century Class S/T™, and will use his Cascadia for general freight and a dry van trailer. Albert, who has been a trucker since 1983, was recognized by Overdrive as its 2007 Trucker of the Year.
