I'm already a big fan of TA/Petro while out on the road and once again they are generously giving back this Veterans Day.  According to an article I read on Expediters Online.com, TravelCenters of America LLC and Petro Stopping Centers, invites all truck drivers who are also veterans of the United States armed services to enjoy a complimentary meal on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at any participating TA and Petro sit-down restaurant across the U.S. TA and Petro will be honoring the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have valiantly fought for our country. Veterans Day meals can be enjoyed at more than 170 participating Iron Skillet, Country Pride and other full-service, home-style restaurants within TA and Petro Stopping Centers.

If you are a veteran and want to take advantage of this offer (up to a $15 value), make sure you have your CDL and be prepared to show proof of service to your server prior to ordering their meal. Proof of service includes: U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card; Veterans Organization Card; Photograph in uniform; DD214; or Citation or Commendation.

I know a lot of truckers are veterans so I want to personally thank all you veterans out there for your service to your country.  My family and I truly appreciate you and hold you in the highest regard.

I second your last paragraph Joey. I couldn't have said it better. Also a huge congrats to T/A and Petro for proudly stepping up and honoring veterans. Every veteran deserves our utmost gratitude.
