When we first got into a over the road truck for a prolonged time I used a slow cooker set in a pan on the floor.  A bungy cord was placed over the lid to hold it place.

Next I used a Rice Cooker for many years and was creative enough to make about anything in the rice cooker but rice.

In 2015 I bit the bullet and bought the KitchenAid Multi  Cooker after much studying of products and contemplation due to the price.  In the end the decision was made to buy the product that would do the most and that I thought would last a very long time.

The KitchenAid has been in use for about six months and I have not found anything I do not like about it. I hope you enjoy the video with tips on how to use this multi use cooker.

Craig I have had the Kitchen Aid in the truck for about a year now and it is the handiest gadget. It also cooks the best steaks I have ever ate. Since I can get the temperature up to over 400 it sears the steaks perfectly. No more grilling steaks for me!

Very nice video Linda. It looks like the KitchenAid is a much more sturdy product than the rice cooker. Hopefully it holds up as well over the long haul.
