First we drop the truck off at Fort Wayne, IN to have a new counter top and sink configuration put in.  Bolt Custom Trucks wants to try something new and we will test this for them.   Hopefully at this time our skirts will have been perfected and they will be ready to be put back on our truck.

Bob and I will drive home in our car and then I fly to San Antonio to ride back to Saint Louis with our youngest daughter and her two dogs.  Some might think that is crazy and maybe it is but I know since the girls were very small some of our best memories where time spent in the car traveling.  I am looking forward to this road trip with Brandy and Bob is the lucky one that gets to go back with her and then help her lay a new tile floor in her master bathroom before flying back home.

While we are all at the house we have plans of playing a lot of board games and cards.  We get hassled a little for not having a TV at home but believe me it is not missed.  All of us are movie watchers though and on Christmas day we will go to town to watch a movie and if the mood hits at home we will watch a DVD that fits with our schedule.    Not much time is spent in the living room as all of the action is in the kitchen.  Bob will sometimes escape to his shop for some peace and quiet.

From the time the girls where big enough to sit at the kitchen table they have been playing board games and once they could shuffle a deck of cards they became part of our card games.   We are all pretty equal in our skill and any one of us can win and we all believe in a lot of smack talk win or lose.   If anyone were to listen in and not watch the game they would have no clue whom was winning by listening to our conversation.

The days leading up to us going home for Christmas are always rough as I start counting down the days and the minutes till we arrive.

Bob and I hope everyone has as much fun as we will over the holidays!
