2014 started out with snow at our house and Bob got to go play on his Wheel Horse tractor.

Our first load of the year was in the deep freeze with miserable weather that gave the Espar heater a workout

Received a very nice bundle of mail from our Trucker Buddy Students in France

Started the process to order our 2015 Freightliner Cascadia - this included talking to our truck dealer Jeff Jones of Stoops Freightliner and also Brian Callan and Don Bentz of Bolt Custom Trucks

We were presenters at several Expedite University workshops

Was chosen as one of the first TA/Petro Driver Citizens and were able to stand on the stage with some amazing drivers

Trucker Buddy of the Month

Had a truck stop named after us the "Bob and Linda Caffee North Las Vegas Petro Stopping Center"

A panelist on the 2014 DTNA Diversity Inclusion workshop at the offices in Fort Mill, SC

Watched our 2015 Cascadia Evolution Day Cab being built with a representative of Landline, John Bendel staff writer, Mary Aufdemberg DTNA, Ryan Major DTNA, and Jeff Jones, Stoops Freightliner

Saw our truck with the Bolt Sleeper for the first time at the Expedite Expo in Wilmington OH.  The truck was a huge attraction as it was show with the sleeper and the truck with no freight box.  It was easy for people to see the disc brakes and discuss how we built the truck.

Interior of sleeper is absolutely amazing and AJ did a fantastic job with hidden Mickey's throughout.

Goal of truck is to have full skirts - these were on for show and we are getting the real working skirts put on over the Christmas break

Attended the Texas Motor Speedway with Freightliner and met many amazing truck drivers.  We were also able to listen to several NASCAR drivers that came over to speak with the truck drivers.

CEO of FedEx Custom Critical visited our Trucker Buddy class if France and placed a call to us during each of the classes so the students could talk directly to us.

Moved over to become a BCO with Landstar Express America

And last but not least we were welcomed to Earth!

Linda Caffee

Bob and Linda started their driver careers after their children left home for college in 2000. Bob started as a driver for a large motor carrier with Linda as a rider. They decided to enter the Expedite industry as team drivers in 2005 and purchased their first Freightliner. Both, Bob and Linda have had their Class A licenses since the early 80's starting out driving in the oil field and hauling grain as fill in drivers where Bob worked as a diesel mechanic. Linda worked at the local country courthouse in data processing.
