Know who to call before you have an issue .

When selecting a physician for you or your family, it’s generally a good practice to find someone you like and can stick with for a long period of time. This is an important decision as you want to establish a good relationship. Your doctor can then get to know you and your health needs/requirements. When you work with a healthcare professional on a one on one basis, he or she will get to know you and this creates a beneficial relationship between you and your doctor.

Just how do you search for a doctor who’s right for you? You can begin by asking family, friends, co-workers or neighbors who they use. You can ask if they are happy and satisfied with their care that they receive. There are many websites you can go to in order to find the location of physicians in your area which include comments and feedback from patients who have used them in the past.

I like to take a similar approach when looking for a service technician for my truck and trailer. Again, it’s important to find a tech who takes and interest and will get to know my truck in much the same way as my physician would get to know me. I like it when I find someone who is passionate about their job as I’m all about maximum efficiency and dependability when it comes to my equipment. I’m selective when it comes to finding the individual who will perform the maintenance and repairs necessary to keep my truck/trailer up and running. I refer to this person as my primary technician. Again, it’s important to establish a good working relationship with this individual as they know my equipment and their past repairs. To ensure that I get the same technician on a regular basis, I make sure to schedule my appointment well in advance for scheduled maintenance and repairs.

As with your health and truck maintenance, the object of preventative care is to avoid any major issues that may arise unexpectedly. However, even with the best of planning we know that things happen which are out of our control. When this situation occurs and you’re not a home base, you may need to utilize someone different to make the necessary healthcare need or repair. Once again, this is where having a regular primary care physician or technician can come in handy. The unfamiliar person can make a phone call and contact these people to gain instant information in regards to you or your truck/trailers past history. Taking the time to select the proper individuals can go a long way toward good health and a more profitable business.
